Can a Christian get involved with Hypnosis or Hypnotism?

If I am a Christian, can I use hypnosis to solve problems? Can I practice hypnosis?

Most Christian organizations accept Hypnotherapy, hypnosis for therapeutic purposes, as a practice their members can attend.

In fact there are even Christian Ministers who use Hypnosis to help their parishioners or followers.
Of course there are Christian groups that immediately jump and react saying … No, Christians should not participate in Hypnosis because it is diabolical … the Bible says it.

In fact, the word hypnosis is not mentioned in the Bible.

Many centuries ago hypnosis was related to mental power, magic, a power that only some possessed. And so he was associated with spiritual practices against the beliefs of Christianity. At present we know that Hypnosis is not mind control, it is not magic, nor any mental power, but a technique that can help us a lot and that anyone can actually learn.

Certainly there are still people who practice hypnosis, with a supernatural tone and mysticism. Some with a lot of exaggeration … like, learn hypnosis to seduce any woman, learn hypnosis to have lots of money … concepts that are totally exaggerations of what you can do when learning hypnosis.

Depending on where you live, the regulations and laws on the practice of Hypnosis vary.
Generally speaking a Hypnotherapist, is a health professional, who practices hypnosis. A Professional Hypnotist, called Consulting Hypnotist in English, is someone who has studied hypnosis, maintains a professional practice, but is not a health professional.

Curiously, the few Christian organizations that do not accept hypnosis, their pastors or ministers, practice related principles, such as mental suggestion in their talks?

Again hypnosis as practiced by hypnosis and hypnotherapist professionals is not at all opposed to any Christian concept.
