Hypnosis is a technique that can help you a lot controlling and managing your weight. Let’s be clear that you are not going to lose 25 pounds in just a few days. Hypnosis is not a diet and is not a magic pill.

The power and magic of hypnosis in helping you to lose weight and/or controlling and maintaining your weight is that when using hypnosis you are able to access your subconscious and find out the emotional reason why you eat too much. Many people who do diets don’t deal with the “emotional eating” and that’s usually the main problem.

Hypnosis teaches your mind about eating healthy. About making food your friend and not your enemy. Lsing way in a safe way. Most experts believe it should be between 2 or 3 pounds/week. More than that could be dangerous.

Some ideas that you can start doing now to keep a weight that is healthy for you:

– Enjoy your food. Eat slowly.
– Serve food in a small plate … so your mind thinks that the plate is full.
– Stop eating every couple of minutes. Put the spoon and fork aside for a few seconds.
– If possible … do not watch TV or use the computer while eating … dedicate this time to eat and enjoy your food.
– Move your body. No need to run marathons. Go visit friends … walk … dance.
– Eat only when you are hungry and stop eating when you “start” to feel full.
– Think in positive terms. If you are one of those persons that believes that just by looking at a chocolate you gain weight … well, guess what … you are giving your mind that command. Gaining weight has two parts, the physical and the mental … if you see yourself gaining weight, you mind will find ways to help you gain weight … so start seeing yourself as a person that keeps and maintains a weight that is healthy for you.
