Three very dangerous phrases …

– I will do it,
– I’ll think about it,
– I might give it a try.

Normally after all, nothing happens.

Someone said that there is a cellar with millions of ideas that never became a reality. Many of them, ideas that could have helped many humans.

How do we avoid that danger?

One … setting dates. Two, compromising our word.

– I’ll do it tomorrow afternoon between 2 and 3 PM.
– I’ll think about it at night, before I go to bed and make a decision.
– I will look for more information about it and based on the pros and cons, I will make a decision to do it or not.

It seems simple, but it is not. I have been guilty of using these phrases many times, without actually making a decision or action.

One of the first requirements that I put to my clients is precisely that … a personal commitment … a date.
And something very important is to write that commitment on paper and put it in a place that you can see it.

Let us give an example.

A prospective client tells me that she wants to learn to relax more and more quickly. But at this moment she can not pay me.

My answer.

I will give you a free session, but first start by listening to the following audio on youtube, which is free and without any commitment.

The person answers me … I might do it, I will think about it, I may try it. Chances are that in the end she does not do it, does not think about it and does not even try.
Committing ourselves, putting a date is vitally important .. and put it in writing.

A better answer is …

Well, since I will not be able to go to the session until next week, I will listen to the audio every day, before going to bed and I will record the results and observations to discuss them with you when we meet in our session.

Take action. Remember that positive thoughts, powerful visualizations, fervent prayers … without action, are like a sport car without gas. Beautiful and powerful, but without gasoline (our actions) it does not get us anywhere.
